Nice cabin for the price. Great location and really enjoyed the view and hot tub. Couple issues…. Upstairs bed sheets did not look cleaned so I had to wash them before we went to bed. Refrigerator was really loud at night, and at the bottom of the resort, near the gate, smelled of sewage. But the cabin was nice.

Was moved to this cabin as a free upgrade the day of our arrival because our booked cabin was not safe to stay in (as per the company's safety checks), so be aware that my experience was based on a lower cost. The positives are that the view is beautiful and it's so quiet. The location is great and close to Dollywood as well as many other activities (including not being terribly far from the National Park). The spa tub was nice after hiking and the full kitchen was very helpful for days we didn't want to come down from our cabin to eat out somewhere. However, there are two problems I had with this cabin (hence four stars). The first and foremost is that the beds are not comfortable at all. I grant that most accommodations do not have good beds, but I have stayed at value resorts with softer beds than this one. Additionally, the parking might be a big deterrent for some. I have a middling fear of heights and the parking space for this cabin is at a downward angle toward a spindly-looking metal fence before a massive drop off. Needless to say, make sure you are in reverse when pulling out of there. Overall, the experience was great. I didn't use the hot tub (much too hot out to use it in the evening) nor the included pool table, but I'm certain groups and couples looking to get away for peace and quiet could benefit from a stay here. Four stars.
